About me

As an undergraduate student at CSU Fullerton, I conducted research in areas such as student success and institutional evaluation, and took computer programming and upper division courses in psychological statistics. My experiences in the intersection of the social sciences, technology, and research led me to pursue my masters in Big Data Analytics at San Diego State University. Currently, I continue to do research with the goal of equity under the Metabolism of Cities Living Lab under Dr. Gabriela Fernandez, where we collect and visualize data for the sustainability development goals, and the Measurement and Evaluation Research Group, where we aim to study the effects of tobacco product waste in San Diego county. In the future, I hope to use the tools of data science to better serve underserved populations.

Outside of work, I try to stay busy through hobbies such as trying different methods of brewing coffee, listening to podcasts & reading, and cooking. My resolution for 2021 is to go on at least one hike per month!
